Martin, are you sure you're ok? Do you need to see a doctor?
      Well, there it is.

The feature I am most looking forward to is new auto reply feature. vBulletin will be able, once you have completed a rather longish personality test take into account all your previous posts and private messages and actually reply to threads without you being there. Unfortunatly due to the current early stages of the new personality turing program that simulates your own state of mind you will need a minimum of 650 posts for the feature to be active.

I thought we were supposed to keep that one a secret, but since you let the cat out of the bag, here's a screenshot:

The intuitive auto reply is a gag right? How is that possible? And how could you trust it?

If it's going to be a feature of vB 3, I'll stop developing the hack for it

Well, we worked with a psychologist to develop the questions for the Base and the algorhythms for the Intuitive Reply Engine®, so it's fairly accurate.
Our thinking was that a lot of Admins didn't have time to answer every question on their boards, so some members may begin to feel neglected and that would affect the traffic on a board. If all the members erceived personalized replies, then they would all really feel like part of something, therefore be more loyal to the boards.
There were a few problems with the earlier Beta versions. Some of them were just ludicrous while others were kinda funny. Maybe if John lets me I'll post some of the better Beta replies.

And, for those of you who are worried about the added server strain, you can toggle this one in the Admin CP.

Maybe I am misunderstanding the scope of this system. Are you telling me this reply system could create a reply to say, the message you just wrote up there ^^?

                        Or is it like this:

System finds "vBulletin" in the PM, system knows you say "I use vBulletin 2.2.2", so whenever it hears vBulletin it replies "I use vBulletin 2.2.2"?

As a simplified version, I would say that about covers it.

I think Martin and the rest of the devs have completely lost their minds
