Yes, but I am quite disappointed with the disability of creating professional buttons where the translated text actually fits the button. So we are looking into this at our next translation meeting. If you have any buttons translated, feel free to contribute and we will include them.

- Gebruik dus "Berichten wijzigen" ipv "Wijzig bericht", "Bericht sturen" ipv "Stuur bericht"...

I just downloaded the latest version and on opening the .xml file I notice 2 important grammatic failures.
De beheerder kan je vereist hebben te <a href="{1}">registreren</a> voordat je deze pagina kan weergeven.
This is sentence is really bad Dutch. In Dutch we would say "deze zin loopt niet lekker"
Much better is: De beheerder kan vereist hebben dat je registreert voordat je deze pagina kunt zien.
Furthermore the translation is not correct.
The english word was: admin_required_register which makes the word "kan" euh.. how do you say that in English. Overbodig. Because admin required register is a statement, not a possibility, so in that case the correct sentence should be: De beheerder vereist registratie om deze pagina te kunnen zien.
But then again, this sentence is sounds not very well. In any case something to look at.
In both cases it would maybe be better to leave "de beheerder" away and put something like "Het kan zijn dat registratie vereist is om deze pagina('s) te bekijken".
Then the 2nd one:
administrator_may_disabled_account
Als je probeerd te posten, kan het zijn dat de beheerder je account uit heeft gezet, of het wacht nog op activatie.
Also this is incorrect Dutch. In this case probeert is with a T not a D."je account uit heeft gezet" could better be "je account heeft gedeactiveert" or "uitgeschakeld" or "uitgezet".Compliments for a great job, we are also thinking of implementing this language!Greetings, Black TigerComment

member list birthdag months not translated
hi,
i noticed that when you set in the admin section, vbulletin options,User Listing & Profile Viewing , Member List Field Options, the option birthday to yes, in the dutch translation, when viewing the members list on the forum, the english notation of the months are not translated.
I made a dutch translation myself, and you can't translate these words.
kind regards

New build released: version 1.0 build 003 (final) for vBulletin version 3.0.3
I was wondering what the big difference between build 002 and 003 is? I just uploaded the new build to my site, but I am still looking at the same errors that build 002 had? I was wondering if there are people involved in the development of this dutch language pack who have a professional understanding of the dutch language, because this level of professionalsm doesn't often show through unfortunately.
Sometimes I feel that this Dutch language pack has the same 'level' as my own English.... which is not very good as you can see just by looking at this sentence....
I hoped that a final release would have solved these issue's that build 002 suffers from. Don't get me wrong, I don't want to express non-constructive critism. I applaud you for taking the enormous amount of time involved in such a big project and I would love to help you guys out on this: my own dutch is far better than my english, but unfortunately I don't have the time to do this.
IMHO the current state of the dutch pack could still be improved big time and in this state I am unable to use it as my default language on my -dutch- site.
Just to let you know what I think. I really hope it will be improved in 2005, because I have waited almost 4 years now to offer my members a dutch translation of VB. So many people will benefit from a professional dutch language pack, so keep up the good work! How much do you love XenForo?Comment

Example.
Hi Floris!
Thanks for your reply. I think it's not so much about disagreeing on certain opinions, suggestions etc. It's just the overall [i]quality[i] of the dutch translation which is -to be honest- not very good IMHO.
Please, consider this as constructive critisism. You guys are doing a tremendous job taking on such a project : I just would like to express my findings to contribute to a more proper release for 2005.
I have attached a screenshot (in 3 parts) of the 'Options'-screen from the UserCP of the dutch translation. It still has all the same errors build 002 had. I don't have the time to comment on each and every word/sentence on that screen now, so I will just attach the screenshots and would love to hear what other dutch people think of the translation.
If alone this particulair screen is of such a questionable quality, I wonder what the rest of the screens look like. For me, this build is not up to the standards I expect from a useable translation. It's not very professional, it still looks like a lot of sentences are translated by a 13-year old person, who doesn't have a clue how to write in proper dutch....
Here are the examples:Last edited by Grover; Wed 29 Dec '04, 9:26am.How much do you love XenForo?Comment

The problem is that the person who is a professional translator simply doesn't have the time to review each translation or to work hard on it. This is not an official Jelsoft translation, otherwise we'd have hired a group of pro's who are able to do it for us. These are merges from various .xml files from various sites who each bring their own quality in the translation (or not). We are a group of teens to mature old guys who do their best by putting in some time to translate as much as possible. Working together is hard, especially as we aren't experienced doing that - and because we aren't always online (frequently).
It is simply too time consuming to walk through each phrase, look it up in real time and compare against what else is already translated. Finish things up and discuss it with the team - update the translation rules and test it with the public and revise it if needed. vBulletin unfortunatly doesn't do inline translation (like I once suggested to the staff hehe) where you can turn the site in translate modus (like debug) and then select a phrase - which turns it into a varname field + textfield for modification. So you can translate in real time. Per page.
Naast aanwijzen van slechte phrase-vertalingen hebben we het liefste voorstellen/suggesties hoe het beter kan. Zodat we het in overweging kunnen nemen. Anders blijven we verzinnen en testen.Comment

by JungHello.
Before I had 5 beta 22 version, tried to update 26 version.
I had an error when I had taken last step that the system is making XML. I guess It is about language pack matter....-
