Lately i've been hit with tons of bots registering and posting spam. I have the image verifiication turned on but I guess they can get around it. Anyone else have these problems and know how to solve them?

I moderate the posts of new users. When they post a "normal" thread, then I no longer moderate their posts. With the spammers, their first post(s) will be spam so they never get posted to the forum.Comment

I run vBookie and VBBux/plaza. I can live w/o vBookie but vbBux is absolutely necessary for my forum since users buy it with real cash. Upgrading would require a lot of testing, copying (to do test upgrades) and would require days if not weeks to do (im slow). Is there an easier solution or does upgrading to 3.6 require not as much effort as I am thinking.Comment
