Duplicate RSS entries

I use the RSS feed from the announcement forum and noticed the following after the upgrade to vBulletin 4.0.0 Beta 1 here:

All entries are shown multiple times, each time my feed reader re-checks the feeds. Could this be related to the session id which is added to every link-element?

Yes, the session parameter in all links is changing every so many minutes (probably because of caching).

hmm posting links is no good as they are always parsed...

Yeah, when the forum was first switched over I had over 400 unread items (I assumed this was normal as it was the upgrade). But I'm getting the last 50 or so items from the "vBulletin Announcements" forum, every few hours.

This is maddening. I hope you get it fixed soon so I can have an uncluttered Google Reader view again.

So, this one seems to be fixed but still shows as unconfirmed.
Might be a good chance to "fix" that. ;)

It's still not fixed. They should handle sessions based on IP and not sessionID when it comes to robots.. (:

Yes, you're correct.
Last time I checked the session-id was gone, but that didn't solved the issue.

That's because when you look, it gets your session id from a cookie.

When a bot looks (like google) it gets the session id from the URL.
Bots don't accept cookies, so that's why vBulletin add's the session ID to the URL.
