Yahoo Status Icon and profile link in user Profiles
It is easy to solve this issue

Asalamo Alaikum (Peace Be upon you)
Hello. dear
first read the image above...

I have tested that the link to view profile only search the member profile if he or she is online.
Code:
http://members.yahoo.com/interests?.oc=t&.kw=naziajubeen&.sb=1
And it never search the profiles of the offline users

Code:
Sorry, no results were found for:
"doncarlos_den".

We recommend trying an
 advanced search.

Even This ID is available http://profiles.yahoo.com/doncarlos_den

------------Solution--------
In profile link > http://members.yahoo.com/interests?....iajubeen&.sb=1

Should be changed to

http://profiles.yahoo.com/naziajubeen

Hope this issue will be solve in Vb 3.8...

The answer here can be very difficult on one the one hand.
But on the other hand after making a lot of test I can say that you are right and that we can change "View the profile of <username>" for Yahoo! service to URL like:
Code:
http://profiles.yahoo.com/<user_yahoo_nick>
As really the current one doesn't work.

If we go to Advanced Search for 'Member Directory"
http://members.yahoo.com/interests?.oc=a
and type for example "Makc"
we will get a lot of results.

And you can see there that every resutls leads to URL like:
Code:
http://profiles.yahoo.com/<user_yahoo_nick>
The main idea (fact) here is that when you change in "Edit Public Profile for: <user_yahoo_nick>" the option in section "Display Options":
Directory Listing: Add this profile to the Yahoo! Member Directory
it will become active only within 24 hours.

You can read about this one here:
How do I add my profile to the Yahoo! Member Directory search?
http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/mem...les/md-04.html

So if you didn't check "Add this profile to the Yahoo! Member Directory" then your profile will not be searchable.

But this fact doesn't disturb us from changing "View the profile of <username>" for Yahoo! service to URL like:
Code:
http://profiles.yahoo.com/<user_yahoo_nick>
Some interesting URLs to read:
  1. How do I search for a Yahoo! member?
    http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/mem...ers/md-03.html
  2. What is a public profile?
    http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/mem...ics/md-06.html
  3. What does the "I'm Online Now!" message mean?
    http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/mem...les/md-19.html
  4. Yahoo! Members > Yahoo! Members Help

Obviously. It should be changed in the next version,
Second reason is that we are just clicking on the link of user's yahoo profile not for searching all ID from the Yahoo Members Directory..
..
I think now this issue is confirmed..
