Grover, thanks for explaining in detail and posting bugs of the current UI issues with vb4. I hope IB will listen.

Some other UI issues that I hope are fixed...

1. No "last page" link in forum display for multiple page threads.
2. No "go" button for forum jump.
3. Thread icons overwhelmingly large
4. Multiple areas of poor font size/color usage throughout forum/blog/cms (for example, the postbit)
5. No "arrow" to last post on forum display, must press on date now.

I've reported some of these issues, hopefully they'll fix them but I'm not confident they will.

Thanks, Grover. I've been working on other issues so I haven't felt the need to pop in. Once I get my hands on 4.0, I think I'll be back with a vengeance. It's nice to see forward progress going on, though. The vB team seems a lot more closely aligned with my priorities since the IB takeover (if we can disregards the clusterf*ck over pricing & licensing).

I have a lot invested in vB's success. Let's hope someone out there is listening to our thoughtful suggestions.

Thanks for pushing so many good ideas for improving the flow of information within the vBulleitn platform. It's really important to push vB to become a full-blown competitor to other social networking packages. If it's a choice between a social networking platform with forums and just forums, I think forums will become an increasingly harder sell. I already see the competition all around me and am really thankful for the SN functionality to push back.

I'll look at it when I'm back at work - just having a quick browse.
