does vbulletin allow forums to be nested? like forums within a forum, and then more forums withing those subforums?

Yep.
You can make a category, add forums to that, and forums to those forum, and against forums to those forums.
Example:
Games (category)
- First Person Shoot Um Ups (forum)
\- Quake
|\- Quake II
|
\- Doom
|\- Doom
| \- Doom II
| \- Doom III
\- Unreal Tournament
- RPG
etc -
cool. i tried it w/ invisionboard, but doesn't seem to work, and i definitely need this feature so looks like I'll be getting vbulletin soon.Comment

We use subforums here. Check out the Bugs forum here. Many of our customers use sub-forums.Translations provided by Google.
