Making the Switch to vB

Hi,

I have read through post about data import, but I'm still not certain.

I would like to import my data to vB. I can get a SQL backup of my current forum, Forums.net (proboards paid version). I have read about using IMP/EXP but I don't know which option to select for the import.

Anyway, my question is with a SQL backup of my old forum can I import that into vB? If so any guidance in how to accomplish this? Which option to select for the import?

There is unfortunately no ProBoards importer for Impex. You would need to find some means to convert first to a system Impex can import from.
