I currently have a VB4 license and like it a lot. I am thinking about buying another license but am wondering if the ADMIN side of VB5 is the same as VB4? Is placing banner ads as easy on VB5 as it was on VB4?

The AdminCP is mostly similar, however adverts are no longer added through the admincp, they are added using advertising modules in Site Builder, via the front end.Last edited by Mark.B; Tue 14 Jul '15, 4:28pm.MARK.B

I think advertising is more wider in ads placement and a lot easier in vb5 because in every pages you can add different ads modules👍 1Comment

Ok, so in VB5 your saying it is easier to ad banner ads, and side bar ads then Vb4? (no editing files, etc). Is it all menu driven and easy like VB4?Comment

"Groups" also known as Social Groups are kind of like Forums, but Groups are generally created by regular users as opposed to Forums which are only created by Administrators.Comment

Yes you can prevent whole usergroups from using them in Usergroup Manager and/or Channel permissions.Comment
