    .webm video embedding?

Possible? I found the BB code I think, however there is an issue with th format being recognized by server and some code needs to be added to the .htaccess file in the c-panel. Will this be possible?

We don't do native html5 embedding. Nothing would stop you from creating the bbcode/markup to accomplish what you want though.

On a related matter, if you wanted to serve up videos from your own server to vB5, rather than from e.g. youtube, how would you best accomplish this?

That's not really inside the scope of our support.

Anybody else know how best to accomplish this?

Once you have your own streaming server set up, you would need to create a BBCode to server the information to the client. Hopefully they will support webm because not all do. You should probably google "HTML5 Video".

Thanks. What do people recommend for a "streaming server".

We can't recommend anything...this is well outside the scope of the support covered here.
