    Tried clicking the empty data base still no go.

      Try choosing the option to empty the database in the installation. Bear in mind this will remove all data, vB and non-vB, from your database.

        something tells me that he didn't setup the correct username/password permissions to the database he specified in the vblite config file

            Ok, have you setup a mysql database for vblite? If so are your sure that you setup a username and password that can access that database? If you aren't or you need help, you can icq me. My number is 114152662

              I sent the script to my host and he set it up for me.

              He said it should work. The errors im getting are not because the account isent set up.

                Yes they are. The errors are because your database user has not been given access to your database.

                  He confirmed that it was set up, but I still get the same error.
