  • Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 33554432 bytes exhausted

    Hi,

I have this error when uploading attachments over around 10Mb:

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 33554432 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 12050442 bytes) in /home/satforum/public_html/includes/class_core.php on line 1813

I know the allowed mem size error has cropped up before and googling it suggests that the php memory limit may need increasing.

    The figs in admin are:

    Apache v1.3.41
    PHP 5.2.2
    PHP Max Post Size 200Mb
    PHP Maximum Upload Size 500Mb
    PHP Memory Limit 32.00Mb
    MySQL Version 5.0.45-community
    MySQL Packet Size 64.00 MB

Which looks ok to me. Have spoken to server host (shared server) and they say theres no problem.

    Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks for reply, yes I have seen posts about mem limit, we have 32Mb now, my apologies, but one thing i didnt mention is that all was ok with these limits, uploading 25Mb files worked fine, until a few days ago, there's nothing i can put my finger on to explain it.
