Having forum that users can only see their threads

Is this possible? I need to set up a special area that the members can talk to the staff one on one and only see their own threads and not the threads of others. Ideas?

Yes, for the staff you can set the forum permissions to allow viewing threads by others, and for the other usergroups you set this to setting to no.

admincp > forums & mods > forum permissions > find the particular forum and change their permissions for each usergroup.
