What is the "strike-through" or "line-through" code for posts?

What is the "strike-through" or "line-through" code for posts?

Example: If I post the phrase "For Sale: 16 Foot Boat", and I later sell the boat, I need to know how to put a line through the portion "16 Foot Boat" to show that it is now stricken.

In some forums it is called a strike [strike]code.[/strike] . But I cannot figure it out.

    Can you help?

    Thanks,

    David

You have to create a custom BBCode for this.

    Title: Strike-thru
    Tag: s
    Replacement: <s>{param}</s>
    Example: Strike-Thru
Description: This allows you to strike through content in your post.
    Use Option: No.

Opps. How do I add the new custom bb code to the Message Bars? In both the Quick and the Advance mode?

The last option on creating a BBCode is for a button image. If you assign an image to that option, it will show up on the tool bars.

You can find sample images, as well as other fun BBCodes, in this thread at vBulletin.org:
