How do I delete a Template?

I go into the list of templates in my ACP and see that I can do most anything I want with them except I see no options anywhere to delete a template?

    Ideas?

Are you talking custom templates (i.e. - templates originally created by you) or pre-defined / stock templates?

        custom templates must be "reverted"

stock templates that are defalt with vb cannot be deleted...

          It's non-intuitive.

Click on the custom template and click 'Revert'.

              You're not wrong there!
"Revert - return to former state."
"Delete - to cross out or remove."

Actually, it is VERY non-intuitive. Intuitive would mean that it is easy to understand and it is not. Feldon is right.

LOL! Now if I could just find the "Custom Templates" that would be nice.

I have searched everywhere and pressed Expand, etc. I have searched phrases, searched everywhere and still I cannot delete about 6 custom templates hiding somewhere in there.

I am about this close ---> [ ] to digging into the database to see if I find something. If I don't, I will scrap the entire thing and start over in about two weeks. I need the two weeks to recover from the brain fry I gave myself last night and today (only 3 hours of sleep). All this only because I wanted a forum home page and messed up my other program I had.

Keywords show up from the templates I want to delete, but I want to delete these extra templates... can someone help me please?

*UPDATE* - Well, guess what? I accidently found "Custom Templates" by just giving up and started clicking on any templates that showed me the "Revert" button as active.

Here's how to delete the template:
Click on a "custom" template - Translation: Click on a template that you have created (and that you would like to delete). Click the "Revert" button. A list pops up of custom templates. Click on the template you would like to delete and press "Revert" button again. Happy deleting!
                    (Hope this helps someone).

I also want to delete Custom Templates but actually the Revert button is greyed out and not clickable!! What can I do to delete them? They didn't come with the message board, they are custom templates!

There is something wrong then. The revert option sohould be available for custom templates. This is how you delete them. I just tested this out on my unhacked RC4 test forum and it worked fine. Make sure you have highlighted the actual template name.

Also make sure you are reverting the templates from the style to which they belong. You cannot revert an inherited template.
