Hi, are you able to check for me as I attached the web.config under 4.2.2 and works perfectly, once upgraded the new web.config file from 5.1.3 is not working. Can you please advice.
It's per attached on my previous post
Also I discoverd if I attempt to do a brand new install under IIS 7. It would come up with the HTTP Error 500.19 - Internal Server Error as per screenshot
That's with your web.config.php and upgrade.php from vBulletin 5.1.3
Please give me an update. We have purchased since September but still not working...
I tested on IIS 6 same problem. Whereas the 4.22 upgrade files have zero issues, including the web.config with it.Last edited by Arnotts_IT; Thu 4 Dec '14, 3:54pm.Comment

Do you have this rewrite module installed: http://www.iis.net/downloads/microsoft/url-rewrite
We do not support any other rewrite modules on IIS. We do not support IIS 6 with vBulletin 5. The minimum requirements state IIS 7. We recommend IIS 7.5 or higher. PHP must be installed as FastCGI following Microsft's instructions on their website. These can be found here: http://www.iis.net/learn/application...cations-on-iis. The minimum supported version of PHP 5.3.27 and with vBulletin 5.1.5, this will be increased to 5.4.0.Translations provided by Google.

Hi, I'm actually using IIS 7.5 and I did followed the instructions on http://www.iis.net/learn/application...cations-on-iis to the word to setup FastCGI
I've only installed the default IIS 7.5 components and I believe that should not contain that URL rewrite module http://www.iis.net/downloads/microsoft/url-rewrite. That's an extension and should not be installed by default.
I'm running:-
Windows 2008R2 x64 with IIS 7.5
MySQL Server 5.151 Community
PHP 5.6.2 (x86), MSVC11
Attempting to upgrade 4.2.2 to 5.1.3 - failed
And then I tried plain install of 5.1.3, web.config file still not working as per screenshotLast edited by Arnotts_IT; Thu 4 Dec '14, 5:19pm.Comment

URL Rewrite is an extension we require. vBulletin 5 will not work without it.Translations provided by Google.

Is there anything else I need to do rather then just install this URL rewrite module for IIS 7.5? Do i need to configure it work with vBulletin?
For the rest of the components I think I've met them.

PHP 5.6.2 (x86), MSVC11 (installed as FastCGI)
As for PHP, phpinfo script is working and it shows up fine. Please see the attached zip file for the results.Attached FilesLast edited by Arnotts_IT; Mon 8 Dec '14, 2:39pm.Comment

You shouldn't have to configure URL Rewrite specifically for vBulletin. It does have to be available for the application pool that vBulletin is in. In your vBulletin directory, there should be a file called web.config that tells URL Rewrite how to work. It should remain in that directory.Translations provided by Google.

Please advise if there's a link to install MyPHP properly on Windows 2008R2 with IIS 7.5? Anything else rather than the link you referred to?

Our documentation doesn't cover server administration because that is outside the capacity of our official support.
The installation instructions for vbulletin are the same under IIS as they are under Apache on a properly configured server. http://www.vbulletin.com/docs/html/installTranslations provided by Google.
