      It's spam, Mark. All .biz extensions suffer from weak SEO.

        He does have license though, and that's a vBulletin forum he's linked to. No choice but to treat it as a genuine support question.

          I didn't mean it in that context. I meant search engines consider .biz (and .info) extensions as spam. Unfortunately for this customer the vast majority of those extensions are spam sites and so his is getting lumped in with them and taking an SEO hit. My fisrt suggestion would be to drop the .biz extension for a .com or .net or .co extension.

                Links don't disappear. IOt is down to Google whether they list your site or not. New articles will not appear in Google immediately, and there's nothing vBulletin can do about this.

                Make sure you are submitting a sitemap through the admincp.

                    The theme you use makes not one bit of difference to the SEO of your site, it's content that matters. Google doesn't rank a site better because it looks prettier or has more flashy graphics.
                    Vote for:

                    - Admin Settable Paid Subscription Reminder Timeframe (vB6)
                    - Add Admin ability to auto-subscribe users to specific channel(s) (vB6)
