Diplaying recent posts

I'm getting complaints from my regular users that it's not easy finding new content. I have created this link

But first of all the posts is not listed with the latest first and I get complaints that not all new post appear. Can my link be improved upon ? Or is there a better way ?

If you look at my "New post" link, threads are not sorted the right way.
