    404 Error After Ubuntu Upgrade

I'm still running my vBulletin forum on an Ubuntu server 12.04.5 VM. Yesterday I took a clean snapshot of the VM and ran the do-release-upgrade. The OS successfully upgraded to 14.04.2 and I was able to browse to my homepage (so Apache was working correctly), but trying to browse to the forum (http://adultboating.com/forum/) returned a 404 error.

As I had limited time to troubleshoot the problem, I just reverted to the snapshot and all was back to functioning on the 12.04.5 OS, but I'm going to need to eventually upgrade. Does anyone have any thoughts or suggestions as to why the forum would be broken after an Ubuntu OS upgrade?

To be honest this is a server issue rather than a vBulletin issue, and is outside the scope of our support.

I agree that this is an OS issue and I don't expect vBulletin support for the issue. I'm just hoping that someone else may have experienced a similar issue and might have some suggestions. This forum seems more appropriate than for me to post the issue on an Ubuntu forum.
