    Can't setup Mobile Suite

    Ticket: 1388485

I've been waiting a week for a reply to my support ticket so I thought I'd try here.

I get this error when I try to setup Mobile Suite.

I enter my API key (it's enabled) and my domain (http://www.domain.com) but it keeps saying my domain is invalid.

    In control panel:
    Forum URL = http://www.domain.com
    Homepage URL = http://www.domain.com

Invalid URL Please check your site's Admin Control Panel, make sure the API is enabled, and verify that the parameters here are the same as the site.
I tried both www.domain.com and http://www.domain.com, but I got the error for both.

Relative images are attacked to the ticket.

wow 9 days and still no replies and no replies here either. Glad I spent $199 for the mobile suite that I can't use because I can't get past the first step. I didn't realize VB support has deteriorated this much.

Still not fixed. 18 days, 1 reply via Support ticket so far. No replies here. Worst support I've ever experienced.

31 days, still not fixed. Averaging 1 reply every 10 days.

I assume you have a forum. So infact your URL should be http://www.domain.com/forum
Its what i used for mine. Maybe give that a try

I think this is the most depressing thread I've ever seen on this site

My forum is in the root, so I don't use /forum/ in my URL.

37 day and still not fixed. June 17th is the last reply I received from them, 19 days ago, and they just closed my ticket without replying yesterday.

I've now reopened the ticket and am requesting a refund for the 2nd time.

If they don't refund, I can dispute the payment, but I'm afraid they will retaliate and cancel my VB license. This sucks, I just wanted to add the Mobile Suite to my site I guess being a customer for 10 years is meaningless.

Under the terms of the licence I think they can sell you any old useless pile of crap code and do not have to refund when it does not work ! That said I would try a chargeback as the product is not fit for purpose.
What is of interest is that someone in support was able to edit the replies suggesting that you buy an alternative product but not assist in any way with your question. I would suggest that speaks volumes for the product and it's longevity.

10 days since I reopened the ticket and requested a refund for a 2nd time. Still no reply. This is ongoing for 2 months now. I'm pretty sure I lost $200 for nothing.

I'm sorry that you have waited a long time for a reply.

Looking at your ticket - you have a non-standard setup with a large number of custom redirects.
Our agent has already advised that you will need to redirect calls to api.php manually in order for the mobile suite to work.
You've stated that you don't know how to do this - but this is outside the scope of support and we can't provide you with a solution due to the custom nature of the set up.
