    MySQL error: No database selected

Hi, I'm using the latest version of vbulletin and am trying to convert from phpbb 2. When I run the Check and update database tool, this is what happens:

    Code:
    [B]Altering tables[/B]

ImpEx will now Alter the tables in the vB database to include import id numbers. This is needed during the import process for maintaining refrences between the tables during an import. If you have large tables (i.e. lots of posts) this can take some time. They will also be left after the import if you need to link back to the origional vB userid.
    [B]moderator[/B] - importmoderatorid [I]Completed[/I]
    [B]usergroup[/B] - importusergroupid [I]Completed[/I]
    [B]ranks[/B] - importrankid [I]Completed[/I]
    [B]poll[/B] - importpollid [I]Completed[/I]
    [B]forum[/B] - importforumid [I]Completed[/I]
    [B]forum[/B] - importcategoryid [I]Completed[/I]
    [B]user[/B] - importuserid [I]Completed[/I]
    [B]style[/B] - importstyleid [I]Completed[/I]
    [B]thread[/B] - importthreadid [I]Completed[/I]
    [B]post[/B] - importthreadid [I]Completed[/I]
    [B]thread[/B] - importforumid [I]Completed[/I]
    [B]smilie[/B] - importsmilieid [I]Completed[/I]
    [B]pmtext[/B] - importpmid [I]Completed[/I]
    [B]avatar[/B] - importavatarid [I]Completed[/I]
    [B]customavatar[/B] - importcustomavatarid [I]Completed[/I]
    [B]customprofilepic[/B] - importcustomprofilepicid [I]Completed[/I]
    [B]post[/B] - importpostid [I]Completed[/I]
    [B]attachment[/B] - importattachmentid [I]Completed[/I]
    [B]pm[/B] - importpmid [I]Completed[/I]
    [B]usernote[/B] - importusernoteid [I]Completed[/I]
    [B]phrase[/B] - importphraseid [I]Completed[/I]
    [B]subscription[/B] - importsubscriptionid [I]Completed[/I]
    [B]subscriptionlog[/B] - importsubscriptionlogid [I]Completed[/I]

[B]There seems to have been a problem with the database.

ImpEx Database errormysql error: Invalid SQL: SHOW TABLES

    mysql error: No database selected

    mysql error number: 1046

Date: Sunday 15th of June 2008 01:32:13 AM
    Database: ******_phpb1
    MySQL error: No database selected
    [/B]
I've checked and double-checked the config files, but can't see what the problem can be. Any assistance would be very much appreciated.

Edit: Actually, I've been using phpbb fully modded:http://phpbb-fm.com/support/index_fm.php so I presume this could be the problem?

This means that you have the wrong target db info in your ImpExConfig.php file.

Its an old phpBB2.0... is that why? I noticed impex says 2.0.22 when you pick phpBB2 in the original selection...

I bought vbulletin a week ago and I need to convert my board or this is useless to me.

      Please help!
