Datebase Error

I get the following error usually on a daily basis. Sometimes several times a day. It'a always the same error. Not always the same thread but also the same error and line 1359. Any suggestions on what might be causing it? Running VBulletin 4.2.4 Beta 1.

Server info: PHP 5.5.6 MySQL Version 5.6.31

mysqli_real_connect(): (HY000/2002): No such file or directory

In your config file, for the server address, change 'localhost' to '127.0.0.1'

OK. I had found that in a search here but also read that it was not considered a proper fix.
