[Forum] vBulletin not sending emails out

    Hi guys,

I upgraded from 4.1.10 to 4.2.0 and did a domain change but after that when I go to ACP > Users > Send Email to Users, I'm not able to send the emails out. I have around 60,000 registered users on the forums and vbulletin says the emails have been sent out successfully but none of the users including me receives it. I've even checked my spam folder and it doesn't appear there either. I've tried this atleast 10 times now and still not working. I also contacted my host and they said everything is fine from their side and that it's a issue within the vbulletin. So can you please help me out?

After the domain change, did you update the webmaster email?
    Who is your webhost?

I went to Maintenance > Diagnostics > Email and sent a email to myself and it works from there.

You did an upgrade also? What does it say on the front page of your admincp next to "Number of Queued E-Mails"?

Please don't PM or VM me for support - I only help out in the threads.

If I post CSS and you don't know where it goes, throw it into the additional.css template.

It is on the front page of the admincp under the heading "Welcome to the vBulletin Admin Control Panel"

Then these new mails will be sent after the other 881,483...

Speak to your host, find out how many mails they will allow you to send per day and how many in one go then go to:

AdminCP > Settings > Options > Email Options

...and change the value for 'Number of Emails to Send Per Batch' to reflect that advice. Then go to:

AdminCP > Scheduled Tasks > Scheduled Task Manager

...and edit the 'Process E-Mail Queue' task to run more frequently until such time as that queue goes down to '0'.
                    Vote for:

                    - Add Admin ability to auto-subscribe users to specific channel(s) (vB6)
