[Forum] Removing VIGlinks!

So i just had some work done on the forum and now all of a sudden Viglink is active?

If i find out its this guy i will warn everyone off him - but i cant figure out how to turn it off? i uninstalled skimlinks - but i dont see another plugin for it?

Viglinks and Skimlinks are two different addons.

Products & Plugins -> Product Manager. Should be able to disable any VIGLINK product there. If there is no product, you'll need to discuss the issue with the person who did work on your site.

Yeah no product and struggling to get hold of him again!

You can search your templates for content with Viglink in it and remove/comment out this parts.

As always, back up first!

It pulls up a few results but when i search the text, nothing?

You need to contact VIGLinks on their site. We don't provide support for third-party addons.

The thing is i have never added it?

Go to Search in Templates

Search for "viglink"

You will get a result, probably the footer or headinclude, but footer is more likely.

Go to that template. Press ALT-F on your keyboard, it will bring up the FIND window in your browser- search for viglink again - it will be there.

Delete the line from your template... it will begin with <script... and end with </script>.

Look for code like this in your header or footer templates.

Maybe one of your admins or mods did this? Please try what Joe advised and let us know if that fixed your problem.

I dont have any with access!

Also you can see the code viewing source on the homepage above the body tag -but i cant find it in any templates!
