Two domains

Hi, how would I configure having two domains?
My first domain works perfectly fine but the issue is the second. It would ask me to login and when I do, I get redirected back to the login, which I am not logged. An endless cycle. I know it's an issue with cookies, how would I fix this?

that isn't possible. if domainx.com could read the cookies from domainy.com, it would be a huge security hole

I'm assuming your using the "add-on" domain feature in either your cpanel or another control panel you may have.

I have ran into the same problem in the past with trying to stop the redirect looping. I never figured out how to get 2 websites on a shared host cpanel. I was only able to redirect one of the websites to my preferred site and simply run a single website with more then one domain. This you can do.

Now I do have a preferable method that may help you. Many people have done this in the past.

First you will need a vps (virtual private server). If you are on shared hosting this will not be possible.

You need to make sure your host has provided you with "cpanel" and "whm" (webhosting manager).

Login to your WHM. There is a place specifically designed to make more then one cpanel account (meaning you can login to both websites separate).

Find the option similar to "create cpanel account". Fill in the information (such as domain, etc.) Once you go through with that, you will have a separate account for both your websites.

I recommend have 1 ip for each domain having a total of 2 ips. You can get vps plans fairly cheap. With fair ram, bandwidth and cpanel and whm they usually cost 30/month. Depending on your preference and how many people you have on your website, you may want to give vps a try. Especially if your running 2 websites at once, this can take quite a bit of your resources after a certain period of time.

Check with your webhost to see if they provide WHM.
