    [CMS] html code converting into smiley faces

    for example part of my html code is below but it is taking such things as and converting it into smiley faces screwing everything up?

      You have three options:

      1: Change the "Text to replace" for the smiles to use colons (eg :smile: instead of ) - https://www.vbulletin.com/docs/html/smilie_modify

      2: Use [noparse] <code here> [/noparse] to prevent it from parsing.

      3: Just click "Disable smilies in text" at the bottom of the advanced reply box -

        Where do you see options for #3? I don't have that option. This is for the CMS, not the forum.

          Wow! You're right. It exists when you reply to an article, just not when you create one. How odd.
