registered users cannot view their own profile

Hi,
I've made lots of changes in the usergroup permissions, recently.

Now I see, registered users cannot view their own profile.
My "registered users" group is meant for new registrations only and my intention was to disallow them viewing other members' profiles.

Here are two settings that might be of interest:

Can View Member Info : No
Can Edit Own Profile : Yes

Am I to understand that "Can View Member Info" also effects a member's own profile?

Usually yes.

so, how is it possible to let a usergroup member have access to his own profile (naturally) but not to other memebers' profiles.

Or isn't it?

There is no way to do that in the default software.

You could start a request at www.vbulletin.org if you need this, maybe that can be done with a modification.
