[Forum] Cap Image Size on Forum and Blog?

Many of the attached images on the site are too large.

    Blog Example:

    Forum Example:
    http://www.the2ndkey.com/showthread.php?4-Let-s-See-Some-Property-Pics-(Post-Pics!!)&p=114#post114

Where do I go within vB to impose limits on how large an image can be?

External Images? No possible by default.
Attached images? AdminCP > Attachments > Attachment Manager

    Each type has a limit.

Attachment settings are global, they will take effect for all new attachments.

I must be missing something? If you look at the pics on the blog they're staying large even when I hit refresh. Do I need to empty the cache somewhere on vB?

                ah! duly noticed

what is a typical image dimension that fits well into vB? 620 x 280 is way too large for my tastes.

Play around it with, I would say instead of limiting the attachment size itself, have the software make thumbnails.

AdminCP > Settings > Options > Message Attachment Options > Thumbnail Size
