[Forum] Facebook API ERROR CODE:191 ???

    Hi guys,

I just tried to connect my vb to facebook i did everything that was shown in vb instructions and facebook.....and now i am getting this error.
When i click "FCONNECT" button fron my forum new window comes up for fb email n pass and on that same window i get this error in red box ,

    "Invalid Argument

Given URL is not allowed by the Application configuration."

but after i log in by putting email and password i get this error on that same page.

    "API Error Code: 191
API Error Description: The specified URL is not owned by the application

Error Message: redirect_uri is not owned by the application."

I've suddenly started seeing this error although some of my users can register with the FaceBook Connect. I'd love to hear what the fix was.

Well i know m way late to reply all posts, but somehow i missed this thread anyways here is what i did when i had this problem. lol

Based on a comment on the Facebook bug report, you might try changing http://connect.facebook.net to https://connect.facebook.net in thefacebook_footer template. Other than that, we need to wait and see how Facebook responds to that bug report.
