I am having an issue trying to upload new attachments I keep getting this error:

406 [IOErrorEvent type=ioError" bubbles=false cancelable=false eventPhase=2 text="Error #2038"]

Thanks for the redirect...
The first suggestion of pasting the code didn't work since I am running mod_security2, but Steve's suggestion did the trick.

We are still getting this error when attempting to upload images from my computer:

I followed Steve's advice from the link you provided but it has not solved the problem.
I think it may have been hasty closing that thread so early on in the vB4 installation process with so many problems still rolling in...
I have seen a few posts recommending turning off mod_security altogether but this hardly seems practical as not many ISP's would likely consent to it.

what should my next step be here? This has been going on for weeks and still no solution...

note: the curious thing is that when I test file uploads via the ACP itself, it reports no problems...does this have something to do with the new flash-box popup?
