Hi people
I upgrade a forum last night from 3.8.9 to 4.2.3.
This morning I noticed that all the attachments are missing!
I have a backup of the physical files as I was using file system storage, but now trying to figure out how to restore them without having to go back to V3, the upgrade took a while and to get everything back in place and running was solid bit of work.
Now the site is back online, people are logging in and posting but I need to try and resolve this problem asap. I did find some scripts here on this forum relating to that but it does not seem to be valid for v3 upgrades. If I cannot figure this out during the next couple of hours then I will have no choice but to dump and roll back to yesterday something I really do not want to do.
I found the log now in my SSH app for the upgrade process and noticed the below, to me it looks like the system did not even try and upgrade them. There is about 70gig or so of attachments so it forms a major portion of the site.
[2016-05-27 22:41:16.5] Converting attachments: 1 to 404697 of 404697
[2016-05-27 22:41:16.6] Conversion of attachments complete
If I look in the attachments table on the v4 database it is large it seems all the filenames are there.
Any ideas?
