    Installation Stuck at 54%

    TO Staff!

After waiting for about 15 days for a reply, I'm trying to install 4.2.4 and the installation is getting stuck every time,
    http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/forum...=1432878073202

3 times it got stuck at 50% and 2 times at 54% and 2 times at 51% in latest attempts (VB5 also got stuck every time I tried to upgrade it after purchasing)

attached is the screenshot, do reply ASAP or refund my money.

    Hello,

    Set this in your php.ini
    max_execution_time 600
    max_ input_time 600
    memory_limit 512M

    Kind regards,
    George.

You can only do this if you have root access to your server (VPS dedicated not shared)

At that point in the install, switch to upgrade.php and run the script again. So instead of install/install.php in your address bar put install/upgrade.php. It should pick up right where it left off and allow you to finish. If is times out again, just refresh the screen.

Do you have SSH access to your account? You can run it via the command line using the command: php upgrade.php. You'll have to be in the core/install directory to do that.
