One of the plus sides to inheriting a Forum from previous owner(s) is that you know it's (or should be) working smoothly. You learn
to keep it doing so, for self and members.
When the time comes to upgrade, as we've started to prepare for; to V 4.2.3 from V 3.8.7, with all hooks disabled via config.php, is that
one doesn't readily have a handle on what should be there and what is an add-on.
When something doesn't seem to work, is it a 3rd party issue or a direct vB issue?
Is there a list, somewhere, of what is on the Basic vB 4 suite? Especially in terms of what should be
viewable within each of the admincp menus.
I suppose I could answer this myself by creating a Basic upload to the Server and use a Virgin database - but that's
probably not acceptable to the Host - we are already running the Live site and a Test site..
