    Version 3.8.4 > 3.8.8

I've recently upgraded my forum from 3.6.3 to 3.8.4 after several years offline, but I'm being notified that 3.8.8 is the latest version, which I can't download; only 3.8.4. I can't see any option to pay to renew my support subscription to download the latest version, I am planning to move to 5 ultimately but not just yet. Is there anything I can do to upgrade to 3.8.8?

Many thanks (and it's good to be back after over 3 years offline!)

You're on a "legacy" style license for vBulletin 3. It allowed you to download updates for 12 months after your last renewal, which has long since expired. You can opt to upgrade to a vBulletin 5 license to get access to the latest VBulletin 3 4 and 5 branches.

Many thanks for the information, I guess there is now now longer any renewal options apart from upgrading to 5 (which will be the next logical step for me anyway) - my forum was hacked 3 years ago (when I abandoned the project) and I'm cautious of having an out-of-date version that is liable to be hacked again.

Upgrading to a vB5 licence will still allow you to run 3.8.8 if you wish - you will have access to all 3.x & 4.x versions, as well as vB5.
