When you add somebody to your ignore list, does that block their PMs and posts?

When you add somebody to your Ignore List, does it mean that any PMs that user tries to send you cannot be sent to you? And with posts/threads, does that mean I cannot view the posts/threads of that ignored user?

They won't be able to send you private messages. By default you won't see their posts and threads but a link is provided so you can view if you choose to do so.
