How to Fix Fast CGI ERROR?

I am getting the following error when I try to install vBulletin version 3.8 for the first time, I am on a server at Dotster.com and it is php enabled.

The FastCGI Handler was unable to process the request.

Error Details:

* The FastCGI process exceeded configured activity timeout
* Error Number: 258 (0x80070102).
* Error Description: The wait operation timed out.

HTTP Error 500 - Server Error.
Internet Information Services (IIS)

Does anyone know how to fix this?

You need to increase the CGI timeout on your server. Normally you would ask your host to do this. If you manage your own server then you can ask for help in our server forum:
