    Sort Today's Posts by Date of Last Update

    Am I missing something here:

    http://www.theglforum.com/search?searchJSON={%22date%22%3A{%22from%22%3A%22lastDay%22}%2C%22sort%22%3A{%22lastconten t%22%3A%22desc%22}%2C%22view%22%3A%22topic%22%2C%22exclude_type%22%3A[%22vBForum_PrivateMessage%22]}

    I choose Sort - started post Descending and the

    results are all over the place

    Was it just a typo in your post here or there was really no space between "lastconten" and "t"? See the red part below
    Code:
    http://www.theglforum.com/search?searchJSON={%22date%22%3A{%22from%22%3A%22lastDay%22}%2C%22sort%22%3A{%22[COLOR=#FF0000]lastconten t[/COLOR]%22%3A%22desc%22}%2C%22view%22%3A%22topic%22%2C%22exclude_type%22%3A[%22vBForum_PrivateMessage%22]}
    Removing the space seems to fix the search results sort order.

      I guess not. I'm still seeing incorrect order for the last 2 posts on the first page of the result.

        If it is ordered by started post then the last post details on the right will not be in date order, because that's not the parameter it's being sorted by.

        Sort by stated post means the date of the FIRST post in the thread, not the last.

          I understand, and the Sort by Last Post works, Last Post column is sorted. But if I sort by Started Post, the Started Post date does not sort correctly.

            It's supposed to be sorted by Last Update (not by Started Post) in descending order. Notice the sort:lastcontentin the JSON. If it was sorted by Started Post, it would have been sort:created.

              Well if it's sort by last update, then the default link that was corrected in 5.1.2 should give that automatically.

              I've just done a new install for someone and this is the link in Today's Posts, which works correctly now (ignore the spurious spaces, the software puts them in because it's a long string of text):

              search?searchJSON=%7B%22last%22%3A%7B%22from%22%3A%22lastDay%22%7D%2C%22view%22%3A%22topic %22%2C%22starter_only%22%3A+1%2C%22sort%22%3A%7B%22lastcontent%22%3A%22desc%22%7D%2C%22exc lude_type%22%3A%5B%22vBForum_PrivateMessage%22%5D%7D
