In the spirit of providing more documentation to our customers and developer community, we put together two PDF documents and an example style. The first is "vB4: Skinning Your Forum in 10 Easy Steps." This is a step-by-step guide on how to customize the main areas of your vB4 Forum.

The second document is the vB4 StyleVar Visual Dictionary. The StyleVar (style variable) Dictionary is more of a complementary reference guide aimed at understanding how and where to use each StyleVar for advanced customization. As we finalize the product, I will continue to provide updated versions of these two docs.

Finally, I also included a zip file, "Wave 1.zip" that includes:
1. Image files used in this vB4: Skinning doc.
2. wave-style.xml - if you want to install this new style.
3. install.rtf - instructions on how to install wave-style.

We are currently writing similar documents for customizing the new CMS. Stay tuned.

I hope these documents are helpful and I welcome suggestions.

I am hoping these docs will help the community ramp up faster on using our new stylevar system.

Let me know if you are having trouble downloading the PDF docs. I was able to download on both my mac and pc.

I can't download any of the attachments. Get an invalid attachment error for all three.

Looking forward to when that gets fixed, converting my current style is one of the biggest things I'm looking at so far.
