I have been asked several times if there isn't an easier way for customers to create or edit the config.php.new file for first time installations. After a bit of thinking I had a great idea and realized it.
One can now go to my web site and it will create a config.php file for vBulletin 3.7.1 that's ready for use. All it takes is for the user to enter the MySQL details and click generate. Very simply. Come check it out.
Note: This is not an official Jelsoft script and it is not supported by the vBulletin staff either.
