Make Thread Display / New Posts More Uniform

I would like to see the "new posts" and thread display pages be more uniform.



On the thread display page the "go to the first unread post" icon is to the left of the title (preferred - like it is on 3.8) and on the new posts page (recently added) it's to the right of the title.
The images on the new posts page (paper image at the far left) doesn't seem to do anything - it doesn't seem to indicate whether or not you've posted in that thread. I'm not really sure why it's there. It seems like it should be the same icons used on the thread display pages.
Is the hover feature gone from the new posts page or just disabled here? Seems like that should also mimic the thread display pages. The text on the preview is small and not all that useful IMO (when compared to hovering).



These may be perceived as suggestions but in my mind they're bugs. :)

I agree with you! REALLY hard to follow the way they are now. Making them look much more like the "User CP" with the thread preview feature would be much better.

The New Posts are a bit hard to follow/read/use at the moment.
