Hi all,

Just a quickie, but is there an official or unofficial skinning guide to vbulletin? I am almost possitive I am going to buy, but want to do some background reading on the whole template system. Ive had a look at the admin cp, however that isnt all there is to it.

I am verry good with photoshop and creating websites, but what I want to know is what the steps are after slicing your photoshop design, to actually implementing it into your forum.

Also you know the templates are editable in the admin cp, can you edit them outside in aprogram such as dreamweaver which I am lucky enough to own?

Is it simply a matter of inserting your images into the templates and adjusting the table sizes?

Is it fiddly!? How long does it take to get a fully functioning skin from the point of having all the images, if your reasonably techie?

Cheers for any feeedback,

Sam

There isn't a step-by-step skinning guide that I know of but there is extensive documentation on the styles located in the vBulletin Manual at www.vbulletin.com/docs/ (http://www.vbulletin.com/manual). There is also inline help within the Admin Control Panel.

As for integrating your own graphics into the design, you can use Dreamweaver to do this if you choose.
