i don't know what kind of license to get lease or own. i know what tha differnce between the two words is but i don't know wats tha difference between the 2 options and how to use tha scrollbar thing. can sum1 explain this to me please:confused:

With both the leased and owned licenses you get one year of access to the downloads section so you c
an download the latest versions during this time. After the year, the renewal for this download access is just $30 for the owned license. However with the lease license you will need to purchase a new license (owned or leased) after the year is up tio continue running the software.

You get a discount after you buy your thrid license,

If you dont want to pay 160 for life you can also get a leased license, which only allows you to run vB for one year, but only costs 85

Ive been around for 2 years now and the price has never risen or droped in the time ive been here.

so if u buy a owned license and your year runs up and it asks if u want to renew it for 30 dollars y is it called an owned license if u have to renew it

You only need to renew if you need access to download the newest copy of vBulletin.
You get support for a lifetime. and you can run it as long as you want. :)

alright so u only renew if vbulletin cam out with a new version and u need to download it? other then that everything else is all payed for and the board is yours forever
