Hi there,
I haven't found the answer in the Manual so I thought I would ask here:
I currently have a phpBB2 forum which is moderated but it is a pain to have to keep checking new messages for unsuitable material. There are a lot of young people on this forum and I don't want to set posts to sit in a moderation queue because then they will not see it as a fluid dynamic community (kids don't like to think Big Brother is checking their mail), but by the same token I have to prevent malicious or unscrupulous people from posting profane or simply unsuitable material on the forum. So I would like to be notified by e-mail every time a post is made, read the post content in the body of the e-mail and then accept/reject it based on a choice of URL in the e-mail body. In this way, most posts will be published within minutes or seconds of being submitted. I am always in front of a mail client which pings when there is a new mail (and I can also check my mail whilst on the road), but a browser window has to be constantly refreshed to checked for forums with new posts etc.
Can vBulletin do this for me? It would easily be worth $160 to get that feature.
I await a positive response with anticipation :)
Regards
Frank
