Help! Paid With Pay Pal

I've paid for a license using my paypal account. I expected to be directed to a download page, immediately after purchase. However, this did not occur. I expect you have sent my member password to the paypal email address.

The problem is, I no longer use my paypal email address, nor can I access it. I've changed email addresses, since getting married, and stupidly forgot to alter my paypal email address.

I'm not sure what details I can "safely" include here about the transaction. Will support/admin please look at my email sent to support and get back to me on aprilsellers@tiscali.co.uk

Sorry that this didn't work out smoothly.

I have removed the SID number from your post to avoid any possible abuse. (Not to sure about this).

Please provide all possible transaction details you got to sales@vbulletin.com and explain the situation - they will reply as soon as possible.

PayPal purchase is indeed instant and the details are mailed to the PayPal email address to avoid fraud.

Thanks for your speedy reply! I've already sent as much as possible about the transaction to support. I think all I can do now is wait. It's my fault really for not updating my paypal account with a new addy.

Any help with speeding up support would be much appreciated. I'm sure after they see my email, they'll have no reservations about providing my password. And then I can get started.

I don't have access to the sales ticket system so I can't flag it to an on-line user or soon to be on-line user. I am sure someone will process it sooner then later.

I'm in pretty much the same boat, as I explained to Floris earlier.

However, I've been waiting over an hour and a half for a reply from the sales team. I was hoping to have everything uploaded before I head to work, but I'm guessing that plan has gone out of the window, unless I hear something from them soon. :o

If you paid out of your PayPal funds then the sale goes right thro
ugh. However if you pay using the PayPal "echeck" system. i.e., the order is funded directly from your bank account and not directly from your PayPal balance, the PayPal callback system does not contact the vBulletin server to confirm the order until the funds have been cleared. This may take up to 7 working days before the sale goes through.

Also, check your PayPal email address. This is where the license info will be sent when the order is completed.

P.S. There are no unaswered tickets in the support system regarding this right now.
