Languages - major problem with beta upgrades

Hi,

for all those who have to translate the forum into another language the way you do the beta-upgrades is a pain in the ***.
I guess noone will use the admin panel to rework one template after the other. (would take ages).

I did this:
I dumped the template table and opened the dump with an editor (homesite) and worked my way through the whole thing. That was 2 days work!
Then I "re-dumped" the table back into my Beta-Install, voila: my language.

Problem: vB thinks that my translated templates are the "original" ones.
So when I did the upgrade from beta 1 to beta 2 it killed all my changes.

Add a template set then dump that set and work off it. I think that will work.

alright, dear developers, I need some more info please:

There seem to be 5 completely new templates in Beta2 (right?). Which ones are that?
I have to add them manually, that's why I need the info.
