new seach option

I was thinking is there a way you could add a seach option that will seach for people that can get into a fourm. with an option to lock them out of the fourm


i.e.

If i did a seach on my PSX chat fourm

it would display

Fourm names [lockout this fourm to user]

Blue2000 YES NO
Jimmy YES NO
Rainbow YES NO

You can do this through Acces Masks. Just search for a user name and click on "Edit Access Masks".

How often would you use this feature?

I have 4100+ members and the way you outlined it above would be unweildy and worthless because it would take huge amounts of time to manage. That is me.

Me2Be has 14,000 members. She would have to dedicate 60+ hours a week just managing forums that way.

However if you know you want to restrict a particular user, it takes seconds to pull them up and change their access. Unless you are changing everyone's access masks every day, this is the easier way to do it.

However I probably won't even mess with this. I just use user groups which has a List All Users feature on it. This makes handling permissions much easier.
