You can send a css Header with php, so you do not need any Font or Color Tag's inside the parsed html Code, only some classes. I think, that can speed up vB a little bit more, and most af the webbrowsers support css.
After all, the change of a style would be easier, the settings can also be save in a database. An Example of the Forumhome is finished, i will upload it on sunday and give you the link here.
