My forum is located in the index directory, not the forum directory.
It is getting spidered very well.
But for those who have the forum located in the /forum directory, does forum pages get spidered well with all search engine spiders?

My forum(s) are located in the /talk/ directory and they get spidered perfectly.
It really doesn't matter where they are located.

Yes, just as well :) at least with vBulletin 3, and the archive turned on ;)

I don't see a need for an archive when vb3 is already spidered :)

The Built-in archive picks up where some SE's cant spider. vB does its best to allow all SE's to spider it. however some SE's have a problem with ? and some other non alpha numeric characters (a-z 0-9). So thats where vB3's Archive comes in :)
