Question About RAM...

I am on a shared virtual host with these specs:

Disk Space Quota 200 MB
Simultaneous Process Limit 64
Soft RAM Limit per Process 8 MB
Hard RAM Limit per Process 12 MB
Operating System: FreeBSD 3.3
Dual 400 MHz Pentium II CPUs
Main Memory: 256 MB

Will I be able to run vBulletin and PHP3/4 and MySQL with only 12 MB per process, even with a total of 256 MB on the system as a whole?

I'm just nervous due to all the memory requirements people are talking about here...thanks in advance!

how many people at one time (or per day) do you envision for your site ?

most RAM is used in the conversion process from UBB ---> vB

After that I don't think you would have a problem with a moderately sized board.

Personally, I would try to find a host that offered a little more up to date equipment and less restrictions, though that may be hard to do. A lot of hosting companies are averse to running message boards.
