How do I parse .php as .php3?

Hi ya

My new webhost uses .php3 as the extension of PHP files, and I read on here that you can add

AddType application/x-httpd-php3 .php

to .htaccess to parse the files ok.
Where would this .htaccess be located or do I created it on my user area?

aaaah nevermind :)
I was being a wally - I had to create a .htaccess in /home/www/satriani where my root is :)

But... can't connect to the MySQL database :/
